UGANDA – 9 DAYS / 8 NIGHTS
DAY 1 – ENTEBBE
Upon arrival in Entebbe Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Once the capital city of
Uganda, Entebbe is situated on a peninsula of Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest natural lake. With its bustling
markets, relaxed beaches and friendly people, this sprawling African City offers the perfect introduction to
this country. Evening at leisure.

DAY 2, 3 – KIBALE FOREST
After Breakfast we transfer to Entebbe Airport for our onward charter flight west to Fort Portal. Look out your
window of the plane onto fertile farmlands below. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains
of the moon (Rwenzori Mountains) and is famous for its many tea plantations. Transfer from Fort Portal to
Kibale Forest home of the Chimpanzee and many other primate species. This afternoon we venture into
the forest on our first exhilarating chimp trekking experience. Meeting a Chimpanzee is a moment you will
never forget. Enjoy an optional local Village walk through the Bigodi Swamp during your stay.

After Breakfast enjoy a second guided trek into the forest in search of Chimpanzees. Kibale Forest is reputable for having the greatest variety and concentration of primates in East Africa. Species to be found here are Chimpanzee, Red tailed Monkeys, Black and white Colobus Moneys and many others.

DAY 4, 5 – QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After an early Breakfast we depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. A wide range of habitats, from savanna and wetlands to riverine and lowland forest. Large areas are dominantly covered by water, Lake Edward, Lake George, the Kazinga Channel, Ishasha River and a series of stunningly beautiful crater lakes. We stop for a midday cruise on the Kazinga Channel and then on to the Ishasha in the south of the park, which is known for its tree climbing lions.
We will spend time on game drives exploring in this area, in search of , Elephant, Buffalo, numerous antelope species – Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Oribi, Topi, Duiker, spotted Hyena, side striped Jackal and Lion . Queen Elizabeth National Park boasts 606 bird species including the Shoebill stork.

DAY 6, 7, 8 – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST
After breakfast we drive on towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the mountain gorilla. This scenic drive meanders through traditional homesteads, tea and banana farms, enjoy the panoramic views of the Rwenzori Mountains. Enjoy an optional cultural experience to the local Batwa community or a Tea Farm Tour during your stay here.
An early morning departure to meet for your first Gorilla Trek into Bwindi. After a briefing on Gorilla behaviour and what to expect your adventure begins. Trekking can take from an hour to a full day, so one needs to be walking fit. Coming face to face with a mountain gorilla is one of the most memorable wildlife encounters in Africa and probably the whole world. There is a feeling of mutual understanding and trust as you watch them in their home in the dense forest. Mountain Gorillas are a critically endangered species, least 400 mountain gorillas inhabit the Bwindi Mountains area. This is a once in a lifetime experience you will never forget.

DAY 9 – ENTEBBE
After Breakfast, we transfer to the Airstrip to catch our Charter Plane back to Entebbe, arriving around midday. Transfer to the hotel, where you have a day room booked. Spend the rest of the day relaxing until you catch your flight home.
