Russell Gammon’s family have lived in Zimbabwe since 1892 and as one of Africa’s leading Professional Guides, he has been leading photographic safaris throughout Southern and East Africa for over 30 years. He is a National Geographic accredited Expert and regular speaker at the Smithsonian Institution in D.C. as part of their Smithsonian Associates program.
A gifted communicator, Russell has lectured on the challenges in preserving Africa’s dwindling wilderness to audiences as far afield as Singapore, Hong Kong, and the USA. As a guide has worked with many of the top Universities alumni travel programs and his services, are highly sought after, as a Private Guide, by discerning traveler’s seeking to get the most out of their time in Africa. Russell currently lives in Knysna, South Africa, with his wife Leanne and their two teen’s Tana and Ross.
