Day 1 ~ JAKARTA
On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia, on the northwest coast of the Island of Java (formerly Batavia). It’s a buzzing modern city with its origins in shipping and the spice trade.

Day 2 ,3, 4 ~ CARITA~ UNJUNG KULON NATIONAL PARK
In the morning we start the day with a Tour of Jakarta – Old Batavia, once the centre of the walled city under Dutch colonial administration in the 17th century. In colonial times, ships carrying spices from far flung parts of the archipelago would pass through this area to trade. Visit the Javanese Wayang Puppet Museum and stroll through Fattahillah Square. After lunch we continue on to Carita our home for the next three days.
We will visit the archipelago of islands of Unjung Kulong National Park, situated on the remote western tip of Java. This UNESCO world heritage site has remained an outpost of prime rain forest and untouched wilderness, with isolated white sandy beaches and coral reef shores which hold a fascinating world of marine life.This National Park is one of the worlds most pristine natural ecosystems . It is home to the rare Javan Rhino , as well as other wildlife such as Silvery Gibbons , Jawa monkeys, Dole ( wild dog) , Banteng , Long tailed macaque , Java mouse , Lutung and Kancil deer. There are also 72 species of reptiles ,amphibians and 240 species of birds that make kulon their home
Our first cruise is to the the island of Krakatoa Anak Krakatua (Child of Krakatoa). We cruise on to Rakata Island (Mother of Krakatua) for a picnic lunch and snorkel at the Legon Cabe Coral Reef before arriving home in the afternoon.
We will also be doing a day cruise through the Sunda Strait to explore the mangrove forests, and Badul Island, where we will stop and snorkel. After a picnic lunch we canoe up the Cigenter River in search of pythons, hornbills, monkeys and crocodiles. Rhino sightings are very rare although it is a priviledge to know they do live still live wild in this forest. You will arrive back at your hotel in the afternoon on this day.

Day 5,6 – JAKARTA ~ BOROBUDUR
We depart for the airport in Jakarta for our onward flight to Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta is renowned as the centre of classical Javanese fine art and culture. From here we transfer to Borobudur and arrive late afternoon. Evening at leisure.
While in Borobudur we will explore one of Buddhism’s most grandiose monuments, the UNESCO World Heritage site, Borobudur Temple, at sunrise. This tour will reveal the hidden secrets of the world’s largest Buddhist temple. The rest of the day is at leisure

Day 7,8,9 – KALIMANTAN RAINFOREST – TAJUNG PUTTING NATIONAL PARK
Today we transfer to Semarang airport to catch a flight to the island of Borneo, the third-largest island in the world. Meander through the streets of the port town of Kumai and on to the harbour. Our adventure begins with a cruise up the Sekonyer River into the Kalimantan forest area. The Kalimantan rainforest is 130 million years old making it one of the oldest rainforests in the world . It is one one of the last remaining natural habitat for the endangered Orang -utan . This large Asian Primate shares the forests with twelve other primate species: Gibbons, Langurs, Macaques, Proboscidea Monkeys, Squirrels, as well as nocturnal primates , the Slow Loris and the Tarsier.
Boat cruise up the Leakey River to Camp Leaky, location of a world-famous Orang -utan research centre. During our visit we will trek through the surrounding jungle with a local naturalist guide and have the opportunity to feed some of the center’s resident apes, returning to the lodge in time for dinner.
Visit the Tanjung Puting National Park in the Kalimantan Rainforest, where we will trek and have more opportunities to catch sight of orangutans, proboscis monkeys and gibbons.

Day 10 – SEMARENG
We transfer back to the town of Kumai to catch our onward flight to Semarang on the Island of Java. We will overnight in a city hotel Semarang. Evening at leisure

Day 11, 12, 13 ,14 ~ FLORES – KIMODO ISLAND – RINCA ISLAND
After breakfast, transfer to Semarang Airport for your flight out to the island of Bali, with an onward flight to the island of Flores. The island was given its incongruous Portuguese name, meaning flowers, by its 16th-century colonists. Labuan Bajo, a fishing town at the western end of Flores, combines tropical beauty with nearby attractions such as the Komodo National Park, myriad superb dive spots and stunning waterways speckled with little islands.
Spend the days enjoying the natural beauty of the Komodo National Park, traveling by speed boat to Rinca Island and the Komodo Islands to explore the world heritage landscapes of the home of the fearsome Kimodo Dragon. We explore the Islands on foot and enjoy a picnic lunch as well as the opportunity to go snorkelling off Komodo’s captivating Pink Beach.
We have two days at leisure at this property to relax and enjoy this remote Island.

Day 15 – JAKARTA
We boat transfer back to Labuan Bajo and then on to the airport for our flight back to Jakarta. On arrival in Jakarta you have an overnight and day room booked; use this time to relax and reflect while you wait for your flight connection home.
